TAKE ACTIONTogether for the protection
of the ocean and marine life

Become active with us and help to protect marine life and their habitats, which are so important to life on our planet.

Whether you help out as a volunteer or pass on environmental knowledge, become active as a family or company – each and every commitment counts.  Get involved in the World Cleanup Day, sign a petition to support important ocean conservation initiatives, and stay up to date on news, our achievements and our collective commitment to ocean conservation with your individual newsletter subscription.

Thank you for being part of our movement to protect the ocean.

OUR CAMPAIGN AGAINST PLASTIC POLLUTION

I CARE - the ocean begins with you.

Plastics are everywhere – even in the Antarctic ice and at the bottom of the sea at a depths of 10,000 metres. And although United Kingdom has no direct access to the sea, plastic pollution still enters the ocean via our rivers. Plastic poses a great danger for marine animals: they swallow it and get injured or entangled in the sharp nylon ropes of drifting fishing nets. Become part of our «I CARE» movement and reduce your own flood of personal plastic waste.

Your voice for marine protection concerns and petitions

A healthy Ocean is essential for life on the blue planet.

The petition “Because Our Planet Is Blue” calls on the world’s governments to use the UN Ocean Conference in June 2025 to agree upon taking effective action to tackle the most pressing threats to marine life. The Ocean needs to be protected and restored so that its inhabitants can survive and thrive.

Our nature is not a waste dump! Stop unnecessary single-use plastics.

We call on the United Kingdom federal government: Stop shifting away your responsibility, but apply the instruments already in place within the Environmental Protection Act! Under this law, the Federal Council can ban the single-use plastic items, such as take-away items and plastic bags from the United Kingdom territory, independent of the material used, and can stop the sale of cosmetic and personal products containing microbeads in Switzerland.
